2024 Election Info
AFMTE is the only membership organization dedicated to shaping the future of massage therapy education. Its collective vision and voice provide vital support and guidance. The Leadership Development Committee (LDC) is charged with finding strong candidates to serve the Alliance as Board members and members of the LDC. Service to the Alliance gives back to the massage therapy community and contributes to your own personal and professional development.
AFMTE Board Election Results
Kim Alexander, Vicki Winston, and Shari Aldrich were the LDC’s recommended slate of candidates for the open board positions in 2024. No other candidates were submitted for the Board of Directors election. As such, congratulations to Kim Alexander, Vicki Winston, and Shari Aldrich for their election by acclamation for three year terms starting on September 1.
AFMTE Leadership Development Committee Election
There were no nominations submitted to serve on the LDC during the call for candidates. The current
members were all appointed through established procedures this past year so there are no terms
expiring at this time.
Your Role as an Alliance Member
We invite you to read and consider these prepared materials, and then to contemplate whether you
support the LDC’s proposed slate or have different preferences for who should fill this year’s open
